Plan your Visit

Waiver

All guests must have a signed liability waiver on file before participating in farm activities. 

One waiver per family is required and is kept on file for the calendar year, so returning families only need to sign once. You may print and sign ahead of time or complete one when you arrive—we’ll have copies available at the farm.

What to Wear

From digging in the dirt, climbing hills, and petting animals, I suggest wearing play clothes that can get dirty. Bring sneakers, a change of clothes, and sun screen to immerse yourself in nature!

Food/Drinks

Outside food and drinks are allowed. Pack a picnic lunch or snacks.

Bring plenty of water.

Pets

We welcome service animals to assist our guests. We allow dogs that are friendly and leashed at all times, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.

Parking

Parking is on site in a grass field.

Admission will close when we reach capacity.

🐄 Helpful Tips for Guests

  • Look for the farm signs at the entrance with double gates into a field

  • Please drive slowly on Herman Rd (children & animals nearby)

  • If your GPS takes you past the driveway, turn around—we are not far back

  • Parking attendants may be present during events

🚗 Coming from Hickory / I-40

  1. Take I-40 W or E to US-321 N toward Lenoir/Taylorsville

  2. Continue on US-321 N for about 15 miles

  3. Take the exit for NC-16 N toward Taylorsville

  4. Turn right onto NC-16 N

  5. After approx. 3 miles, turn left onto Herman Rd

  6. The farm entrance is on the left after the auto shop. Look for farm signs and double gates to the field. 

🚗 Coming from Statesville / I-77

  1. Take I-77 N or S to US-64 W toward Taylorsville

  2. Follow US-64 W into Taylorsville

  3. Turn right onto NC-16 N

  4. Drive approx. 2–3 miles, then turn left onto Herman Rd

  5. The farm entrance is on the left after the auto shop. Look for farm signs and double gates to the field. 

🚗 Coming from Lenoir

  1. Take US-321 S toward Taylorsville

  2. Take the exit for NC-16 N

  3. Turn right onto NC-16 N

  4. Drive about 3 miles, then turn left onto Herman Rd

  5. The farm entrance is on the left after the auto shop. Look for farm signs and double gates to the field.
