Farm School

Farm School at Hidden Creek was created to serve families—not just individual age groups. We saw a gap in traditional programs where siblings are separated and families are stretched thin. Instead, we envisioned a place where the whole family can learn together, build relationships, and grow in community.

Our Farm School welcomes children ages 0–18, with learning centered around the farm, nature, science, and the changing seasons. Each age group engages in activities designed for their developmental level, allowing everyone—from toddlers to teens—to participate meaningfully while sharing the same experience.

Learning here is hands-on, outdoors, and rooted in curiosity. Children explore at their own pace, ask questions, observe animals, create, and discover alongside siblings and friends. Parents are part of the rhythm too—connecting, supporting, and growing relationships within a like-minded community.

Over time, Farm School families become more than classmates. They become friends who celebrate milestones, support one another, and return season after season. Hidden Creek is a place where learning feels natural, family bonds are strengthened, and community is built—one shared experience at a time.

Can parents stay during Farm School?

Yes. Farm School is a family learning experience, and parents remain on-site. Parents are welcome to observe, participate, or connect with other families while children engage in activities.

What ages can attend Farm School?

Farm School is designed for children ages 0–18. Activities are adapted by age and developmental stage so each child can participate in a meaningful way, even within a mixed-age group.

Do we need to attend every week?

No. We offer a discount for registering for a 6 week session. Although each 6 weeks shares a common theme, each weekly lesson can stand on its own. We understand that family life is full and seasons change. Come as you are able, and know you’ll always be welcomed back without pressure or judgment.

What if it rains?

Farm School happens rain or shine, with adjustments made for safety and comfort. We embrace outdoor learning and encourage families to dress for the weather. In cases of severe weather, we will communicate any changes in advance.

Is this a drop-off program?

No. Farm School is not a drop-off program. This allows us to keep the environment safe, relational, and supportive for all ages and learning needs. You may step away to relax or work, but you must stay on the premises.

What should we bring?

Families should bring weather-appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, and any personal items their child may need. We recommend clothing that can get dirty and a water bottle for each participant.

What about allergies or special needs?

We strive to create a sensory-friendly and inclusive environment. If your child has allergies, sensitivities, or learning needs, please note them during registration or contact us ahead of time so we can best support your family.

Are animals involved every day?

Animals are an important part of Farm School, but interactions vary by day, activity, and animal needs. All interactions are guided and safety-focused.

How many families are in each session?

Farm School groups are intentionally kept small to maintain a calm atmosphere and allow for meaningful connection and individualized learning.
